a marketing guy, somewhere in kuwait, is a “kiriative grafek dizainer” coz he knows how to use photoshop and make “logoz and addz” and thats probably him in the ad and his precious abble on which he got a special discount from a mac shop coz his brother’s friend’s girlfriend’s cousin works at an agency where they also make logoz and addz and knows a good supplier for mac… and ofcourse “he likes to learn”…

This ad is the result of training institutes that claim to teach photoshop and illustrator and make out of someone a creative. I think this was the brainstorming session that took place before this piece of art saw the light.
Client Servicing: We need to make an ad for infocenter.
Creative: What does it need to say.
CS: Oh shit i forgot to ask the client, wait i’ll call him.
(He picks his phone and dials the marketing executive at info center)
CS: Hi, it’s me.
ME: Hi, what’s up.
CS: Well between the talk about how bad advertising in Kuwait is and the new haifa wehbeh video i forgot to ask you about what the ad should communicate.
ME: We need a piece of advertising that would stop the readers of the newspaper and want them to take action.
CS: Ahhh!!! OK.
ME: When can you deliver?
CS: mmmmmm, how about 1 hour from now?
ME: Great, can’t wait to see it.
CS: I’ll email it when we’re done. Bye
ME. Bye
Creative: So?
CS: Well he needs a nice ad that would have an impact. I was thinking that the key proposition could be “love to learn”.
C: Nice, i like it. Let me find a picture of a guy who’s holding a book with passion and the template would be in red to emphasize love.
CS: Yes, Yes that’s it and we can add some hearts, but don’t forgot that we are talking about something to do with computers.
C: Ahhhh I see, let me think.
(After 10 minutes)
C: How about instead of a book he is hugging a laptop?
CS: I love it, i think we have a winner. Can you finish it in 45 minutes?
C: I’ll try, it depends on the internet connection. Honestly i think it’s an award winning ad.
