Well it should have been a “flying elephant eating Caviar for a treat” . NBK must have been kidding me with their TVCs. As for the BKME TVC i believe it’s fine… cheesy maybe but it still is decent enough for a bank. The light humor in the closing button I believe saved it from being too silly.

I didn’t like the circus music and the whole execution of the TVC including the actor they chose to play the employee. I did find the ending cute though and the manager looked the role.

we sometimes forget that these ads are not targeted to us, and though I believe this ad is just above average, it stroke a cord with Kuwaities as I only heard positive comments from them about this ad.

You probably misunderstood Rafi. What is funny for you may not be so for others and vice versa. A lot of people hated the NBK yabeela campaign and thought it was stupid, this doesn’t mean that it stroke a cord with Kuwaities. This ad is not stupid, I’ve seen much worse ads that got applaused by you guys!!!
