Nice ad Ramy. It’s a fresh and new way to say sale. Never seen anything like it. Art direction could have been better, it’s a bit dark to me, but nice approach for the most used and abused brief in Kuwait: Sale!

Ramy, could you explain how the hell did you end up doing this cr*p? I mean I agree that it is something that’s never been seen before but is it on track? How do you visualize “HOLIDAY SEASON SALE?” with laces that looks like a head dress of those KonKan Dancers at Vegas? Miss the spot, boy! What about the SALE of Ikea? Come on, people… These are below average works and NOT the kind of stuff that would be coming from a great agency like FCB.

Ramy, Have you thought about using the actual products from TAF like shoes and formed them like frosts dropping? and arrange them like patterns on your wintery background? OR you could use your laces and form them into something creative that represents holidays like a christmas tree? That’s what I thought, (THE1… I do give constructive comments, yknow)

ALTHOUGH ITS A GOOD WORK CONSIDERING ALL THE STEREOTYPE SALE ADS THAT WE SEE AROUND, BUT I GUESS ITS QUITE SIMILAR TO SOME MC DONALD AD THAT WAS DONE BEFORE FOR EID CELEBRATION WHERE THE FRENCH FRIES WERE SHOWN COMING OUT FROM THE SAME PLACE AS THE SHOE LACES IN YOUR AD. THE FRIES THERE WERE SHOWN FORMING THE 10 FINGERS OF OUR TWO HANDS IN A WAY LIKE SOMEBODY MAKING A DUA. EVEN THAT AD HAD THE SAME BLUE SKY LIKE YOURS AS ITS BACKGROUND.
WHAT DO U THINK, WAS THAT YOUR SOURCE OF INSPIRATION FOR THIS AD????

I always hated these shops … i guess it’s because of the definition …
Athlete’s foot or Tinea pedis[1] is a parasitic fungal infection of the epidermis of the foot. It is typically caused by a mold[2] (but in some cases a yeast) that grows on the surface of the skin and then into the living skin tissue itself, causing the infection. It usually occurs between the toes, but in severely lasting cases may appear as an extensive “moccasin” pattern on the bottom and sides of the foot.

Anyway … Getting back to the ad … Some ideea was there … But COOOME OOON did you spend more than 10 minutes on making the visual for this ad? It LACKS the DEPTH of the night sky and the “fireworks” are just plain 2D … And the tilte … DOESN’T mean SALE … Shows just a celebration mood… so the title is WRONG! ;)
But hey … i already hate these shops so this ad is “PERFECTO” for me :)
