Moodz are you serious?! This ad is ugly like hell… like all the KDD ads that are being done. The ideas, art direction you name it. With the budget they’re having in media I’m sure they can increase their budget on the artwork and improve it

Yeah, it makes you wanna make that phone call and beg KDD to remove the campaign from the streets. For a moment you think you’re back to the 80’s… I wanna puke!

?? Nobody likes the ad?? To me* it looks direct and simple. You don’t need creativity to convey such messages, you might end up misleading and trying tooo hard, Like what Mark says,”trendy” aint it? :-)

The fact that we are all here discussing this ad goes to show that the ad is great and is in fact doing its job by grabbing our attention. We all clearly understood the message of this advert which is that KDD now offers home delivery and you could contact them by phone. The use of the red phone symbolizes urgency (ala presidential emergency phone) which is why we are all attracted to it. They’ve taken a very strong Hollywood symbol and used it to their advantage and I think that alone is a terrific idea. Its not easy to come up with these straightforward ads and still have a strong concept.

If I use your logic Mark, AIDS would be a great thing because it gets lots of people talking about it!! It’s a bad ad full point. Do not try to embellish it with advertising BS. Come on people, why do I have a feeling sometimes that bad ads are being praised while other good ones are massacred!

Just Me maybe you have a problem with KDD because of their recent price increase but even so you shouldn’t let that effect your judgment on their successful ad campaign. I am also pissed because of the price increases but thats a personal thing and this is a professional thing. You shouldn’t mix the two.
