The blown away idea was created by Maxell I think in 1979. They’ve recently brought back their blown away campaign.

I still remember the Maxell TVC!!!
Wasn’t the same concept also used by Michael Jackson in the video clip of Black or White featuring Macaulay Culkin in 1991????

hey
i have Q
do all big banks /companies in kw outsource it Advertising Operations to a dedicated ad agency?
I am working in a new concept in advertising and would not like to deal with different agents for different companies
do banks/company buy advertisments directly?

5 out of 10!
pros: i like the guts considering it’s made in kuwait; good layout
cons: from another angle, the idea is the last option for creative people. it’s like seeing pencil from a pencil - and that’s not creative from creatives’ viewpoint; middleweight art direction i don’t like the “hey photoshop” texture of the road, image quality of the car can be improved; vanishing shadows of the chucks’ laces?
remarks: this ad will strike higher if it was a superglue ad. on the otherhand, it’s better than most print ads i’ve seen here in kuwait

I have a few problems with this ad; Concept is cool, but direction is a little off.
1. What crappy car is that supposed to be? Honda Prelude or Accord- it’s a little too from about early 2000 as well.
2. I am/was an owner of Sony explode- circa 2000 but, dropped it. So I am familiar with the product. Also why are you using old style boom box without including the amp, red lights, etc? Honestly this looks like a home made ghetto box and 1000 watts is piss poor to blow anything away especially from Sony.
3. Sorry bro, just a connoisseur of sound systems and feel that as a consumer in the market- I would not be impressed or convinced.
My bad.
