Why is this here? The logo I am assuming was designed abroad so what exactly was done in this layout?

To show there are client’s in Kuwait with taste and appreciation for clean and reduced layouts. But as usual: only complaints from people around here…sad

kelly no one is complaining about the layout. What I was pointing out is that this site usually posts work that has ideas behind them so that people could discuss it. I fail to see the idea behind the layout here. Placing a logo on the top of the page with copy “And now in Kuwait” is not good art direction neither is there any idea behind it. So what are we as readers of this site supposed to discuss?

Mark, isn’t this site supposed to be “all about advertising in kuwait”, which includes to me what’s going on in the market in general, basically to show the variety of work in terms of advertising, give an insight and be an inspirition for creatives and everybody working in this field. As we are all aware of the fact how difficult it is here sometimes to convince clients to go for something clean (that was the ides behind it!), maybe to show something like this on ads2blog.com helps us all to keep our heads up and believe in the “good”

first of all people should improve their english language, as being a graphic designer they should know correct language

a layout without an idea is a layout without an idea.
if we were doing this Jane Packer ad we would have presented 3 different directions to the client, this direction here would have been the safe one for the client to go with in case they didn’t like any of the other two.
There was no thought put into it. Yeah its clean but how hard is it to make a clean layout where the only information required on the ad is the logo and the now open headline?

ok, you just did not get the point mark. and by the way, who told you this was the only option presented to the client…? i guess you just think to know it all.

Kelly I apologize for my naiveness. This layout has a very strong concept behind it but I was just blinded by my ignorance that I didn’t notice it. Great work, if only there was more of this creativity all over Kuwait.
