    P I was thinking the exact same thing. I have noticed that its always Gilbert and no Pencil. its as if he is the only one that works there. (actually thats possible).

    “P” it’s not really hard to spot the missing link here, the material serves its purpose. The visual way this classified ad is delivered means you’ll be weaving sites in a creative environment..and that is Pencil talking.
    On the other hand, who knows maybe gilbert alone needs the web developer? (gilbert is synonymous to pencil nowadays)..but isn’t that trivial so long as the message is sent clear through visuals?

    NOMAD… What you’re saying is good EXCEPT the part where you say “that is Pencil talking”! Where exactly does it say Pencil advertising?
    What if Gilbert left Pencil tomorrow and joined another agency? Will the ad still work for Pencil then? (BTW the ad is for Pencil and not Gilbert).
    What I think was needed there, is at least to have Gilbert’s email to be a corporate one! Check out FCB’s recruitment ads, they never say which agency or anything, BUT Joe’s email address is a corporate email address.

    Mmmm…so this ad isn’t gilbert’s? Got your point “P” Maybe that’s the reason why Pencil’s shopping for web addicts…they need someone to setup their corporate email & stop using gilbert’s gmail abode :-D

    Oh! thanks adchemist for the info..so now “P” this personal email turned out to be an idea after all. (now that’s circumstantial :-D) That’s why they’re hiring web developers to fix this problem

    Well, Web developer is not responsible for fixing the email (problem) or turning the gmail adress to a corporate one. its the web administrator.

    its like that you are looking for a media manager to work as creative director :P
