KRE8TIVE, i don’t think it’s Mark who’s behind this comment… Apprently it is a new trend today, some people are commenting in others people nicknames.

Well that’s not a so good trend after all….. You shouldn’t allow that to happen here.

This takes the cake. Design standards have been falling recently at FCB, but this is really bad. The text is just floating around, editing is horrible on the magnet. Was a fresh ‘designer’ responsible for this monstrosity?

Trying to be witty sometimes, might make you end up looking Dumb. Think Harder, FCB.

This is bad, but still not as bad as NBK ads! Hope they don’t get as bad…
I’ve seen some very good designs from FCB, for bkme too, I don’t see why this is below standard. May be this is not a designer’s mistake, rather client’s design? anyone from FCB?

Impartial, what are you talking about “maybe this is the client’s design”? I mean if you are a reputable international agency, then why the hell are you being “art-directed” by your client? Aren’t you suppose to be the ones who should tell the client how’d they look like since you are the experts in terms of communications, branding & design? OR it is perhaps the agency “lacks” the ability to communicate properly and end up using the “easy-way-out” and “take-away” solutions here by using unexperienced staff? I think it’s time to shape up and do some trimmings at their agency.

Kre8tive. I did not say that the ad was done by the client, all I was trying to say is when you have a good client that listens, the result shows immediately. If you cannot understand this universal equation, may be then you should quit advertising. Again, look at NBK’s ads, do you think JWTshould undergo serious trimming? Try to sell NBK good work yourself!

Impartial, are you in advertising? If you are, then why don’t you pack up your things and leave? Clients would hate people like you who does not pay much attention, My comment was all clearly written out - All you have to do is try to read and understand before blowing up. Shaping up agencies for the sake of raising the standard is healthy and beneficial for both agency & client, and I bet a lot of peeps agree to that. Also, do you mind explaining further what you mean of “universal equation”? I just hope that you are not having a hard time working with real and true clients? If you do, then a career move will help.

Kre8tive. Where did you see me blowing up? I am not the one known for a bad attitude on this blog… But as usual, it is pointless to argue with you. Read my previous comment it is still valid for what you just said, and for what you are going to say for that matter.
