Checked with some friends and told me that it might be a franchise issue. However, not confirmed yet

It might be good, might be bad… We’ll see how they’d do without the TBWA tag.

It’s not a big deal, what’s in a name? You are only as good as your local team ;) we had the same experience six years back with M&C Saatchi and we are better off without them as they do not commit to this part of the world with any research, insight, training, etc. but they do collect the fees. So Raad/Afyouni will be more than ok.
They have their team, clients, reputation etc. etc. and that’s what matters. Please do not try to turn this around on them.

@ Louai, the name does in a way contribute, we all know that, and clients do agree to that as well. It does matter at the end of the day.

I spoke to one of their clients and its seemed like TB…uh Raad/Afyouni already had them well prepared for this. The client seemed happy with the decision. Doesn’t look like it will hurt them.

Raad/Afyouni is boring as a name, as the slash was an indication of them being in the TBWA network, why not RA.or R.A.
I see it as a logo without identity for a student firm kinda like agency.

I found your comment mean, Moey. There is nothing wrong with the name RAAD/AFYOUNI infact these are known names not only in Kuwait but in the region as well, Though it do sound better with the TBWA tag. The bottom line is the “WORK” at the end of the day. You can have the name MOEY/TBWA but your work looks like that of a student’s, See it all depends, you know ;)
