    i like the ad.. it’s clean & straight forward. i just think that the ad are consist with client’s & designers information blended perfectly.

    it seems that both of you like to put your nose where it is of no concern to you both, also if you noticed that I have started an attack on anyone unless provoked!
    All I said that the ad sucks! It is my right to say so and not to be antagonized on my view!
    If you want to talk about the ad then you will be honored with an answer…. If not then please join the idiot that started this useless line of answers by both of you!
    My work is not of your business and it is not in question here, what is in question is a layout that looks like it has been done by a junior dtp, with the directions of the client!

  15. You seriously need to be told why this ad is bad?
    My 2 cents:

    1. Horrible photography of the tray.
    2. My eyes don’t know what I should start reading…the top text or the one in the card. You’re eyes are supposed to comfortably start reading instead of getting lost
    3. I don’t get the Le Baguette feel or image. Replace their logo with any logo and you can easily see this ad in Al Waseet
    4. Too crowded

    Whitewolf said its clean and straightforward. I don’t understand your perception of clean. This is anything but clean. It is a direct ad… that I agree on, but I personally think it’s too direct… too much in your face.

    Now, now, kids… break it up!

    The point that this ad sucked or ugly or the worst, is true. I agree to all of you there. But there’s another angle into this, it’s not a ‘creative’ ad, client wants more information, designer trying to create a balance (literally) or It’s an ad for the sake of making an ad, maybe? I think La Baguette made a nice move by re-branding some time ago and they stayed for while looking neat, but all those efforts went down the drain after seeing this. Horrible isn’t it?

    I suggest that they (La Baguette) should start working with real ad agencies with right now.

    This looks crap. I’m a consumer and have nothing to do with the advertising business and can tell you that a) its not eye catching b) it completely forgettable c) You can replace the logo with any other confectionery logo and wont feel the difference, which means the branding sucks big time. Dont you get any focus groups before you print ?
